Think any of us here can lay off the crack (err, keyboard) for a whole day on Sunday?

Obviously, there is a certain irony to a web-based project promoting an internet-free day...

Good thing it's a Sunday! I don't think I'll tell the wife as to avoid any lengthening of my "honey do" list.

I guess I could go see what that bright ball in the sky is all about... ;)

It's highly overrated.

I intend trying this. I will, of course, post regular updates in this thread throughout the day to let you know how I'm getting on.

"internet-free" does NOT equal "keyboard-free". I can go just fine without the net, but I ALWAYS have to write. I don't write on paper with pen any more since I still have a million words or so dating from 1980 or thereabouts to scan. Not adding to it....

Internet free?

Hmmmmm.

Ok, I know what Internet means and I know what free means, but can those two words be used together like that?

I ALWAYS have to write

Now, I never would have guessed that ;)

International Internet-Free Day doesn't apply to visiting WebmasterWorld does it?

I mean, some things are just plain necessary.

<reality check>Being self-employed means no time off for a genuine stat holiday let alone ignore my business medium for a PR stunt.</reality check>

Depending on how you define "day", in terms of length, time zone, and a myriad other factors, I completely failed to accomplish an internet free day today.

Doesn't matter how you slice up the clock.

*Shrug*

I'll put it on "The List" for next year.
