I'll be purchasing a digital camera in the next month or so and I'm trying to find technical specifications and reliability data of the various brands of secure digital memory cards.

Does anyone know of a site or sites that compare the various brands (and the types within brands) of cards? Does anyone have any anecdotal information they'd like to share?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I only have a brand recommendation for you: SanDisk.

I have a few that I use to store data & mp3s for my PDA, and they are just fine.

Thanks for the reply, mattglet.

I own a couple of SanDisk cards myself for my Palm. But I've read in a couple of digital photography forums that they are among the slowest cards, and some people have reported problems with them.

You might want to check in the PDA forum... they are probably the most knowledgable folks.

It might be just like discussing hard drives though... Everyone has their own favorite.

I considered posting there (and in the hardware forum), but felt that would probably be more digital camera users here.
