A vision of a northern England in which people could live in Hull, commute to Liverpool, shop in Leeds and go out in Manchester in one day has gone on show.

My then Girlfriend kept banging on about the raw beauty of the place - its crap, its depressing, its got nothing there but poverty and dour northerners.

If the Romans had of had any sense at all theyd have built the figgin wall further south just to keep out brummies. They have a lot to answer for. Maybe I could get an apology from the present Itailan Premier?
Even Queen Victoria hated the place, she used to pull the blinds down on her royal train so she didnt have to look out on the northern city scapes.
Isnt no better today.
Tell you what, lets dynamite the East and West Midlands and create a saltwater separation between the glorious North and the vainglorious South.
No-one will miss the Midlands, right?
