A Romanian couple has named their son Yahoo as a sign of gratitude for meeting over the internet, a Bucharest newspaper reports.

Daily Libertatea said on Thursday Cornelia and Nonu Dragoman, both from Transylvania, met and decided they were meant for each other following a three-month relationship over the net.

My TV Commercial pitch:

Camera fades in and pans down to a small rustic Romainian village tucked into the lush green mountain side. Cut to a close-up of the front of the house. A motherly figure opens the door and steps onto the porch. Cut to wider shot showing the mother and some kids playing in the grass across the dirt road. She calls out to her son ....

YAHOOOOOOOOOOO!

Hang on. Perhaps the story that it was a hoax is indeed itself a hoax. The source has blown its integrity now - so how can we be sure of the truth?

That guy should be able to get a job at the world weekly news. I gotta admit while I never believe any of it I am often amazemed at the creativity that goes into creating some of those headlines.
