Cryptic clues are supplied from which you must derive the answer - the name of a London underground station (but including the Richmond to North Woolwich connection). So far we have 27 out of 30; none of us can get the last three.. Rival departments are closing in fast...
Now, whilst this may be considered a bit of 'cheating', don't worry, there's no money involved, no prizes, just the pride of finishing the quiz first - and by whatever means (and that means by whatever means). Our little team on the 2nd floor (the company pub quiz champions 2004), have trawled the web and only come up with variations of the same quiz; different questions though.
Examples as follows:
Clue: 007 lives here
A. Bond Street
Clue: Doll can do
A. Barbican
Clue: Large or huge
A. Wapping
You get the idea. So, these are the three we're stuck on...
Clue: American Highway
A.?
Clue: Squashed hedgehog
A.? (Preston Road, perhaps)
Clue: Horticultural line
A.?
We need to be first, before another department cheats us to the finish..;-)

Clue: American Highway
A.?Turnpike Lane perhaps
Clue: Horticultural line
A.?
Kew Gardens
Turnpike Lane - nice one, olias!
Kew Gardens; that's it, of course! We'd considered that but initially rejected it. Now I've just seen the connection, hidden in plain sight...
Horticultural = garden
Kew = queue... D'oh!
Now all we need is an alternative answer to the clue 'squashed hedgehog'..;-)
Cheers,
