Mike, welcome back safe and sound, and thank you for serving.

My son just recently returned home after his second tour of duty. I'm sure your family is extremly happy to have you home again.

Thank you for a nice post!

My son is single, (handsome, intelligent, plays a saxaphone, dedicated, etc..just a little plug for all single girls in california! ;)) So his family is his sister, 3 brothers myself and his dad. We are all very proud of him. And thankful that he is home in california, safe and sound.

It isn't easy being across the states from him, but so much better then when he was across the world from us. He keeps trying to get me to move to california, but I prefer a land that is firm and doesn't shake and bake you ;)

Thanks to all who replied! My deployment was short term and in country, so it's nothing compared to the men and women who are sperated from their families overseas. My hat's off to them

From outside the US and without regard to politics, Welcome Back, Mike. It will be good to have your voice round here again.
