No exaggeration: I must've gotten at least 100 emails like that in the past two days. All leading to the same POS website via fake redirects, amking it look like affiliates are doing the spamming. Let's hope someone sues them out of business or better, out of their houses. I can't be the only one getting those...Am I?

There are many anti spam solutions out there, I suggest any just pick a good one.

I also humbly suggest we dont discuss those topics near the water cooler, anymore.
After all, who needs any 'sour grapes' after taste in the mouth after a water cooler break?

Discussing about Spam email topics here can get this community into a lot of unwanted trafic... for that reason, discussing specific spam topics is a problem, accross the board.

Just a note on these watches ..I was given one once by afriend ( Senegalese who sells them like many other African immigrants do on the beaches in the south of France )..I dropped the thing one day ..and in trying to repair it opened it up ..Whadya know the company who makes them ..in China.. not Italy where they currently claim to come from ..actually is so proud of them that they put their name in the back of every one ..and..Whadya know#2..it's the selfsame company that makes all those "dressy" watches that don't have the brand names and logos etc ..But do look "just like" and that you find in every supermarket and low end jewelers all over the world ...

They now have a legit website ( there still is only the one company making these )..but when I phoned them ( years ago before websites and all )..they admitted to making the "knock offs" ..but it was /is upto you to get them past your customs if you want to import them ..( although they are willing to put you in contact with various middle men who can help with "these matters" )
So ...are the "authorities" anywhere really interested in stopping the "knock off" fake goods business ( cos if I can take off the back and find out who made them what stops the cops and the customs doing the same ..shortage of screwdrivers!? )..or is it just noise "like anti spam laws"...

BTW ..I never use a spam filter ..I deal with too many people who have weird spelling ( I just quarrantine all email and sort it while I have the first coffee's of the day )...
