[news.bbc.co.uk ]

"He could not drive, so he hired stretch limos to take his friends on nights out."

Well, I suppose it beats hanging around on street corners - but weren't his parents at all interested in how he could afford to fly his mates first class to New York?

Wow. Wonder what his folks thought was going on. It takes a certain intellect to figure out something like this - too bad he didn't consider doing something legit....

Another typical BBC story - lacking all interesting detail (how he gained the customer confidence, how (if) he faked feedback, what eBay said about it, etc...)

I bet he will spend his time in jail, writing a book.

'How to rip off people on Ebay'

And if they are stupid enough to give him a computer in jail, it can be a ebook.

But from what little the article describes it seems he would of needed alot more money to live that "good life".

Strech limos, great computers, 1st class hotels in New York. All that is dam expensive...

Chapter 7: Avoid those pitfalls that can lead to failure and jailtime!
personal experience has taught me the hard way the one thing you shouldn't do

"But he was not content with taking people's money - he later taunted them by e-mailing them with details of how he'd spent it."
