Bet he's a real babe magnet! :)

Don't get me wrong. I loves me the Star Wars. But that car is....I dunno...CHEESY?

Um. Of course it is.... so were the movies in many ways, regardless that I love them....

*snicker* Well, they were, in some ways. But they were and are some of the most fun, involving, special films ever made. "A New Hope" was the last movie I saw big-screen.... my astigmatic eyes contribute to big-screen vertigo to the point that after that it wasn't worth trying to see a movie in a theater - just NOT FUN....

We'll be buying the dvd set next time we hit Costco....

I'm conflicted about getting the dvds. I have both the original digitally remastered videos and the digitally remastered with updates videos. Getting the dvds seems like overkill cause I can't get rid of the videos since they were gifts from my parents.

I know, I know. Grow up and get over it. But they'd KEEL me if they found out.

Heh. My daughter gives stuff like that to us.... reminds me that she's supposed to get the LOTR 3 extended set with the bookends for us to go with the rest....

We have two remaining of the original VHS set - my dying VCR ate the first one of the set a few years back, and I haven't been able to replace it. Then I have two of the remastered sets - one in a "garden variety" box, the other in the fancy black and copper box (was a black and silver version too, but haven't got it), and I notice that the dvd set comes in both black/copper and black/silver subsets - probably have to have both....

Eh. What can I say? As to the "newer older" parts of the saga, I've no use for any of it.... EXCEPT Amidala's wedding dress.... now THAT I would cheerfully dice with the dragon over!

I know! Why mess with perfection? There's no need for extra scenes and dolling the background up. I don't need to see 10 extra bar patrons to get the "feeling" of outer space. I'm already a space cadet! :)

Well, good luck with making a choice on the dvd color combo.

BTW, good find on the pics of the car. I'm wondering how much the whole thing cost. I'd like to have that much money to blow.

At the stae fair here this weekend there will be a 3/4 scale X-wing fighter on display, as well as a Darth Vader and Yoda--sculpted out of butter!

Gotta love the fair....
