You're out walking about, not particularly doing much. Suddenly something, possibly sunlight reflecting off a shiny surface, causes you to stop in your tracks and look up to the bright sky above.

You also become aware of a strange humming noise - it's at a low level, a background noise but you can't quite make out where it's emanating from.

Squinting from the glare of the afternoon sun you make out something silhouetted against a cloud; it's gone. Hang on, it's back; it's now further over to the left, higher in the sky and moving at an incredible speed.

It dawns on you as you stare incredulously that it's a UFO. Seconds pass before you jump with a start now realising that you have your digi-camcorder with you. You must film it.

Pulse racing, heart pounding, you focus, you shoot - but just how good is that footage going to be? Will it be clear enough? Is the camera movement too shaky? And all that zooming in and out, your film footage will be terrible and no-one will believe you!

If you have a quiet minute or two why not have a go and find out what your video footage would be like in such a situation, for as we all know, The Truth is still up there... [ferryhalim.com]

Enjoy!

Warning: that link resizes your browser window, in my case pushing most of it out of the viewing area. Can someone tell shoot the designer for such an evil and stupid trick?

Don't know about the flash movie, as I backed out before it loaded.

I know I can disable the resizing, but why should I be forced to?

Wrong side of bed this morning?

Oops, was it that obvious?! :D

(I'm none too sociable after 3 hours of frequently-interrupted sleep. Ah, the joys of parenthood!)

Tell you something Id give 'em what for, aint we got enough people down here already? I have sneaking suspicion that theyd only come to sign on for social security payments any way.

I just hope they've got a valid parking permit. Clamp the buggers!
