If you were in control of Google.com for 1 day...

What would you do?

A less serious topic... If for some reason (I am thinking magic here), you had exclusive access to Google.com's server (Front page only - remember, this is magic) for 1 day, and could do what you wished with it, what would you do!?
Can be Adsense related, or anything else...

Style the page like it was in 1998.

And put my AdSense on it, offcourse.

I, like vkaryl, would take the money and run (I'm sure there's a way to get money out of it)... but not before 'borrowing' and implementing encyclo's "boo" idea.

1. Put a nice AdSense tower on the right hand side, with all CTR to my account. (And wait for google to send me another package in the mail on how to better design my site for improved CTR... Anyone else got that unbelievably useless but well packaged booklett?)

2. Nice little message saying "Google Search is unavailable today so we could free up processor time to process SETI@home units." At the end of the day I'd count how many SETI units had been processed, and use it to determine exactly how powerful their server farm is. Sell that info to as many news agencies as I could, and the CIA, because everyone's just guessing shots in the dark right now at how powerful that server farm is.

I'm pretty sure that the men in black know. Think about it, if you wanted a wire tap on the "web" the easiest thing for you to do would be to sniff Googlebot traffic. Fewer switches to tap ..

A totally unrequested, totally unseen, totally no click required, totally not agreed to (since they can't see it) scumware-created-by-me install - this way it would be the gift that keep on giving. ;)

I'm kidding, really.
