Every day, same old stuff.

Any pointers on "how to feel fresh"?

Sounds to me like you need a holiday.

I've heard Massengill is good when you get that "not so fresh" feeling...

Learn a new language.
Go and live outside the Anglosphere.
Live a new culture.

I hate the anglosphere...

Here's my stress relievers...

Go REALLY fast in my sports car
Go shooting clays (if possible where you live)
Work out
Hike in the woods
Take a day off to play golf
Build a fresh new computer
Ride my mountian bike
Ride my motorcycle
Get a new hobby (I've recently started exploring abandoned buildings and have started a club called MUD. Midwest Urban Decay. It's a good rush and a good way to connect with our history.)

[SEOMike.... you carry when you explore those abandoned buildings, right?

Scary idea.... abandoned MINES with CRUMBLING SUPPORTS are safer....]

Something to slant one in a different direction:

Ride the horses up on the mountain.

Borrow a friend's OHV and go out on the Nevada side of the line - a million acres of nothing but cattle, mustangs, and rattlesnakes (take water and carry loaded).

Hit a couple of plays in Cedar at the Shakespearean Festival.

Cook a dutch oven dinner. With elk from last year's hunt.

Hike into the wilderness area up the mountain behind the house.

Head for Burr Trail, and hope you don't land in a downpour.

Sit out on the deck at dusk with a glass of good red wine, and just TALK.... reconnnect....

LOL! Mivox, that was SO wrong!

Find something you don't like about yourself and read a book on how to fix it.

What? Who? Me? ;)

On a more helpful note... I like going to coffeeshops with something to read and a notebook, and actually turning printed paper pages and writing things long-hand with a pen. It's a very peaceful and old-fashioned way to spend an afternoon.

Netherlands

Nono... not that kind of coffeeshop. That would make it too hard to concentrate on my book.
