The PC laptop folks had these issues on a regular basis:
1. They had to keep disassembling their computers to clean all the sand out.
2. On those rare occasions we could "plug in" my iBook always automagically found the DHCP server where about 70% of the PC laptops had to be manually configured. That's probably more of a reflection on how those folks set up their PCs than the computers themselves, though. :)
One guy had his PC laptop die from a virus he got during one of the rare ten minute connections we got to the internet. With a steady connection, he should have been able to patch it up but in that situation he was screwed.
I do have a negative for you! I think they fixed it a couple rev of iBooks ago, but mine had this little annoyance with the trackpad loosening up at the top. Still functioned well, but a mac user doesn't expect any cosmetic issues with their computer. :)
