In a poll of foreign journalists in my Sunday paper yesterday 9 out of ten thought that the referee's decision was correct. But then maybe they are ALL wrong?
The only one who thought that he was right was Davie Moyes, the Everton manager (a Scot!)

The reaction from the English media was completely over the top as usual. These guys just cannot be objective because their whole aim in life is to stir the s***!
There was some interference with the goalkeeper, of that there is no doubt. The only question was whether or not it constituted a foul but since goalkeepers always get the benefit of the doubt no one should be surprised that the "goal" was disallowed.
If the situation had occurred at the other end of the park the same English media people would be proclaiming that it was definitely a free kick :o)
