just the cd itself...

live in Italy and if I enter a post office, it may be 40-50 minutes before I emerge.

I only have a standard cooking scales for when I make my ice cream....

...anyone got a super sensitive scales?

esllou, even on your standard cooking scales, you can measure the weight of a CD: just put 10 CDs on the scales and divide the weight by 10 ;-)

I thought about weighing ten or even twenty but it isn't only that you need to be weighing 100g or more for old kitchen scales to start registering anything....they are also inaccurate and I needed something down to the nearest gram or two as I am right on the 20g limit for Italian Post to start doubling what they charge.

esllou:-

Italian Post Office Website : [poste.it...]

Google does a pretty good job of translating it to English if you need it.

these scales are circa 1968...nothing electronic.

i use them to measure ingredients when using my super advanced Italian ice-cream maker

300g sugar
1 lemon
600g melon pulp
300g double cream
200ml milk

mix, put in machine, 40 mins. later is ready!

yeah, I speak Italian and that was the page I was on this morning:

[poste.it...]

20g is the division between one tariff and another so with the cd weighing 15/16g and the envelope, cd sleeve and one sheet of paper, I am right there!

Sorry, yes - I totally mis-read your post and thought you were asking *if* you were right on the division line.....
