Monday. It always seems to be the slowest.

Friday, although bittersweet. It is alway a reminder that I didn't get as much done as I wanted.

Wednesday has been my bad day for years: The mother of my oldest son has a column in a local publication.

Sunday evening is bad, because I know I need to get up in the morning... ;)

But I think Tuesday is my least favorite, because I realize how much of the week I still have left to go.

Long ago I realised that a year later a bad day (barring tragedy) is often forgotten and always less traumatic than first felt. Combined with working total flex time I am pleased to report that every day I wake up is a great day.

HATE I reserve for the carpenter ants and mice that have taken up residence in my attic and that HATE is 24/7!

Thursday.

For reasons I don't fully understand, and therefore can't explain, Thursdays and I have never really gotten along.

Oddly, Monday is my favorite day of the week. The wife goes back to the office, so I get to stop messing around with tools, and get back to working. Ahh, the peace and serenity of going back to work on Monday. Mind, I usually blow most of the day reading the newsfeeds, drinking coffee, and instant messaging. In theory, that's all related to work, so it's all good.

Curious if there are any ladies out there who can answer one of life's mysteries for me: Why is it women prefer to see their spouse doing home repair (badly) on a weekend than just working on stuff that actually makes money?

I've always found it odd that Friday makes me feel good because the next day is Saturday and Sunday makes me feel bad because the next day is Monday, even though on Friday I have work but on Sunday I don't.

However, now and for the last 18 months every day is a weekday / every day is the weekend so it really doesn't make a blind bit of difference.

Sometimes friends ring me up and then say: "I have to go back to the office now" and I think: "What! It's Satur- oh no, it's Tuesday". I can't tell the difference anymore.

Has to be Monday.

In particular, THIS Monday for me. As the rest of the country (bar my state) has a public holiday to celebrate the Queen's Birthday.

I personally like Wednesday, as it is "hump day". You are in the middle part of the week and heading down here from there. :)

Sunday. Ever since I was a little kid I've had the feeling that there's something inherently wrong with Sundays. They just never seem to end...

Mondays - I really don't enjoy my day job, and I'm faced with a whole week of work!

Fridays are my favourite, as I know I've got the whole weekend ahead - time to work on my website :)

I agree about Sundays - they are inherently flawed. The Big Mans one and only design fault.

Wow, why you all so blue about Sunday? It is by far my most fave day of the week. I rarely work, I am usually just hanging out with the family being very lazy. What's not to like?

Monday is by far the worst. You have a full week of work in front of you and there's nothing good on tv monday nights.

Wow, why you all so blue about Sunday?

I think it's a hangover from schooldays. Also I know I can't go out and do what I like on Sunday night, otherwise I'll pay for it on Monday. And you have to start worrying about stuff like, do you have clean clothes for work, anything proper to take for lunch or will it be a nasty pie from the corner shop again etc etc.

there's nothing good on tv monday nights

You can't be in the UK then. Monday night tv is great here, BBC2 comedy all the way :)

Umm... you phrase that as though "women" are some amorphous, collective-consciousness mass that shares a homogenous view of the world. ;) Personally, if a man is going to do a lousy job of home repair, I'd much rather he go back to his computer and let me take care of it.

My long dark teatime of the soul is indeed more likely to settle in on a Sunday.

Monday hands down.

Tuesday is alright because its not Monday.

Wednesday is cool because you know your halfway through.

Thursday is not bad because you know tommorow is the weekend.

Friday is the best :).

Monday; weekend ends, I am tired, and I have violin lessons with my perfectionist teacher (after work).

Saturdays during the football season, by far the worst day of the week.

I'd say it's the day of the week that's been slow for the last few weeks. But that seems to shift a bit.

So it jumps between mondays and saturdays.

Thursdays. I never could get the hang of Thursdays.
