I logged on and started clicking "open link in new tab" in the usual order and found someone's been changing the forum list order again!

Read a few forums I haven't been in for a while. Probably good for me ... but I like things to stay put ... rude awakening for a Sunday!

I noticed the same thing--CSS above Webmaster General, Foo and Community moved, Javascript up by CSS. I don't really like the change, personally. I'll get used to it, but it was faster to use before. Even if I'm just saving milliseconds.

Good news for the Javascript forum - an excellent resource which will now get more noticed. I would have liked to see the Microsoft Search forum up with the other search forums such as Ask Jeeves / Teoma, etc., but I suppose it's down the bottom until it stops being vaporware!

On a similar vein, I would propose a competition for adding a description to the two forums currently without one - Javascript and Gmail. The JS forum suffered not only from it's lowly position, but also because it was less noticeable without a tag line.

I seem to find myself ending up in the cloaking forum without even knowing how I got there.

No need to be ashamed about the cloaking forum, Fiver :)

We all need to come out of the cloaking closet sometime hehe

Fiver, I thought that the point of cloaking actually was to get people somewhere without them having any idea how they got there. But then my ignorance of cloaking is almost as deep as my ignorance of Javascript. Perhaps I should try fumbling around in the forum list?

ah c'mon now, we don't need to employ <irony> tags round here do we? ;)

I was going for a triple entendre, but couldn't think of a third meaning.

Yep, I was officially lost after the second paragraph in encyclo's post :)
