Hello! I had a local issue come up last week which I felt strongly about so I decided to do some internet activism. With a new domain in hand, 10 hours of work and an Adwords campaign, I got my first request for an interview about the site and after a furious 20 hour late night coding and writing spree, my site and a forum (I'm a noob at boarding) were ready for the influx of newspaper driven traffic the next morning.

So far the forum is starting to jump and <crossed fingers>the site is still up</crossed fingers>. I won't mix my personal political views with you folks... (Why ruin a great relationship?) :) But I would like to thank everyone here. So much of what I could put together at such short notice is because of the time I have spent here. I'll let everyone know if I was able to have any effect.

This is one of those things that the Internet is good at doing: To let people with no particular position in their society communicate their opinions and feelings directly to others. Be very carefull to be completely honest in what you're doing. Somebody are gonna dislike your action strongly, perhaps even hate you. If they can show some moral weakness in your position they will.
