hi guys,

i'm in bangkok-thailand right now (arrived today) and as you can see I can't stay away 1 day from webmasterworld, not even in my hard earnded vacations.

I wanted to ask to anyone that has been already in thailand, for trip ideas, things to watch out for, anything that could be useful for my 28 days trip.

thank you all in advance

- swizz

Ever been scuba diving? Get to Phuket or Samui.
Get some suits made
Have an ice cold bottle of Chang
Go see some lovely temples.
Or of course try searching on the www for more info :)

I have lived in Thailand for 5 years.

General things to do:
Kanchanaburi - spend a few days chilling out by the river Kwai
Issan - Take a trip around the North East and get to know the locals - very friendly and great food.
Hua Hin (my home town) - Nice beach resort close to Bangkok for a quick getaway
Koh Tao - a must for divers, very chilled out island.
Koh Samui & Phuket - if you want to party, these are the places for you.
Get away from it all - To avoid the tourist trail try the following places: Chumphon, Trang, Khao Lak, Nong Khai.

Safe trip

About to leave on a holiday for Foo-ket. (Sorry .. could not resist).

Will be in BKK on Saturday night. Unfortunately travelling with my wife and 2 year old, without a baby sitter.

If you like hanging out in pubs.. take a look at the Huntsman's in the Landmark. Has a good mix of everything. Love the chicken rendang out there... :)

Hi there

I just came back from Hua HIn on Sunday, enjoying one week labour day holiday and it was a great time, great place for golf and the beach, the nightlife is good as well, IMO better/more relaxed than pattaya or some areas in BKK.
So I would say Hua Hin is worth a visit, it's just a 3 hour drive from Bangkok.
