I live on Canvey Island in Essex and on the train into London for work this morning and it was one of those days where you wish you were in a beer garden for the day. Seeing as its st george's day as well :)

Yes, it's a beautiful day down here in Sunny Devon too. I'm just hoping it's still a beautiful day at 5.30pm so I can have a drink then.

Us brits are always talking about the weather aren't we. Oh well! It's nice here too in East London. I've got no work but can't go off site so I've got my wireless laptop connected the network and I'm on the roof enjoying the view and watching the world go by.

Here in the US we're in our fourth straight day of tornado weather in the state where "the wind comes sweeping down the plains". The tornado sirens have gone off every night since Tuesady evening. Makes you want to drink for a much different reason....
So far most of the twisters have been short-lived and out in the country. Just lots of rain, wind, and occasional hail here in the city.

First proper sunshine we've had for a while in Dorset.
It's nice to know there are so many fellow brits here with whom to drink tea and discuss the weather. :)
