He said: “I would get pangs for the kind of food I grew up on. But Indian restaurants here were still in the primary stage of evolution. They were still very much first generation, and having Ravi Shankar music playing constantly in the background really didn’t do much for me.

Shak - Article is only available (in California, anyway) to paying subscribers. Too bad... I was all primed to take notes on any Indian restaurant in London that's that highly recommended. Can you summarize for us?

There's also a bug in their php. They claim I've got my browser set up not to accept cookies, when in fact it accepts cookies fine. Would that people tested their code...

I gather, hoever, that the food is of soemhwta better quality. I'll check out "Café Lazeez" in Google.

I loved the flat bread. You're making me hungry. Had a great time with Shak and others last time I was there.

Is it just me, or do the recent threads on Indian food and Poutine suggest that all us webmasters are hungry, hungry people?

It must be all the hours in front of the 'pooter with only sandwiches and vending machine food available ;)

mmmm, now I'm really hungry!

I think I'll give Chilli Soup [webmasterworld.com] a miss though. I'm not sure my constitution could handle 5 leeks and ten bulbs of garlic.
