I left the corporate world 5 years ago and since then have worked out of my home.

Today I stepped back into the "Real World" and moved into an office.

The phone company "forgot" to enable my long-distance service.

The line installers did not install the proper jacks for my security system.

I found out from our neighbor, that our building gets broken into at least two times a year.
I really need that security system.

Bright spots.

The computer supply store is within walking distance.
Many of the employees already know me by my first name.

A fews steps takes me out to a back deck that overlooks a pond with ducks and other wildlife.

I was getting in a rut, the change is refreshing.

I've recently done the same, with some of the same problems, lol. Took 2 months for DSL, wrong shipping and then a faulty CD, finally can use my phone and do work. It has helped, a little, with cutting back hours and actually focusing. Yes my house could use a little cleaning, but no one has died!
