Sad to see them go, but you didn't need a crystal ball to see this coming. Should we start printing the content?

Thats too bad, when I first started out webmonkey was one of ,if not my top, resources on the net. It was always a great place to get introduced to a new area of web development. Of course I havent visited much recently as most of the articles are now becoming out of date.

Hopefully their content doesnt completely dissapear.

As long as the Wayback Machine doesn't disappear, all the old Webmonkey stuff is safe.

But if the Wayback Machine went... Too horrendous to think about. It's like a public filing cabinet.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Just heard the tragic news. I guess I speak for many people when I say that I owe them a lot, and without them I might not be a web developer today.

Does anyone know whether their articles will stay there, or be archived or what? There's still some I want to read!

Helen.

I had just found an article on there site yesterday that I was going to go back later and read when the timing was better... I suppose I need to go download that article now.

It's sad to see them go... :(

we can still use the wayback machine to get the articles, the only thing we are losing is new articles.

I have never found many of their articles that useful, but I did learn basic HTML from a bit of a thing that Angelfire had from them back in 1995.

They haven't posted the news on the front page, yet!
I was expecting the logo to have been changed to the monkey holding a gun to his head or something, at the bare minimum.
