(A good-natured rant follows...)

Whatever you do, DON'T make your WebmasterWorld name match your legal name, if you happen to share your name with some wrestler freak you'd never even heard about... until suddenly everyone from WebmasterWorld starts commenting on it in Stickymail, IM, orkut, etc...

Just fair warning. I'd watch out if you share a name with any other remotely noteworthy person.

Can I be "Just_Some_Gal_in_Texas" now... please?!

I thought only women were supposed to be named "Shannon" anyway. Knew I should've registered that domain before I got married and BECAME a "Moore". :)

...yeah, I have no end of trouble with my nick...everyone always making unfavorable comparisons with Satan, the allusions to me being the leader of some "Dark Empire", the abusive stickymail from holier-than-thou Linux users...I feel your pain!

<grin> It's good to know I'm not the only one that suffers from "WebmasterWorld nick regret" occasionally. ;)
