Firebird was my default browser, but Firefox, its newest incarnation, just got released today:
[mozilla.org...]

I'm impressed by the start-up speed- down to IE levels. The download and bookmark managers also got a facelift, becoming much more usable.

And as with the previous version: better security, pop-up blocking, and tabbed browsing.

Thunderbird 0.5 was also released today, which seems to have fixed some issues I found really annoying.

Is anything clearly better than Opera today? I'd love to switch to Opera but still find myself using ie most of all. Haven't tried any of the moz browsers yet.
