At work at the moment we are having a conversation about Donoughts - as you do.

We were trying to decide whether to have Jam, Custard or Apple - anyway, someone mentioned the Simpsons and the fact that they always have ring Donoughts..... so as this forum has loads of US members you should be able to answer this question real quick.

In the US are all your Donoughts ring Donoughts or do you have fillings (normally Jam) likes us Brits?

Could be important if I go to the US on Holiday in the near future - worth knowing :).

<edit> Oops Is that the correct way of spelling Donoughts :P</edit>

Ah Ha..... Here it is spelled Doughnut. One of the three basic food groups in America...LOL not really and it is not true that that is all Police officers eat....

This should help you out Krispy-Kreme [krispykreme.com]

Not my favorite, but has caused riots and massive traffic problems when new stores have opened.

mmmmm.... Donuts :)

We have jelly and and all kinds of filled doughnuts. I think it is just easier to recognized the ringed variety in a cartoon.

Stronger than the US dollar at the moment.

Currency of choice if you ask me. Watch the sell-buy dates though.

The value of donuts can go up as well as down. Your health may be at risk if you eat too many donuts. Always read the label

At Shipleys they spell it Do-Nuts. It's a southern thing.
