sleep() crashed Greetings,
Herenvardö
PS: the function was about finding the fastest way in a labyrinth, and since that day I've used the same idea a lot of times ;)
One night my wife walked into our bedroom.
"What are you doing here?"
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"You don't have access to this database!"
"Well...I broke in."
"You couldn't do that, you're not that smart."
The most likely time is in the later part of early morning 4-6am. Sometimes during that timeframe, I'm not in a really deep sleep and if I'm really puzzled by something it comes into my dreams. It wakes me up enough for me to realize I'm not fully asleep but not enough that I'm able to get out of bed. I'm in a netherworld - a pure brain world where my physical body is somehow removed. About as close as I can describe it.
I do some of my best problem solving when I reach this state. I certainly am far more focused and able to work through the upcoming day's "to do" list and develop a plan of attack. Strange...Jaylo and Janet never seem to stop by.
Except, when I turned my PC on, I went to WebmasterWorld (forgetting about the business plan), I answered some threads, and then I remembered. Why did I turn on the computer? and the answer came out of my mouth, to write the business plan.
But, I had nothing left in my head, as WebmasterWorld had sabotaged my business plan.
I was so distressed that I...
I...
I..
went back to sleep.
The End :)
Sid
The most bizare one was when I woke up and asked my partner where the dinosaur was. (Dreamt I was married with kids, and a pet dinosaut that kept bity my ankles)
