Just changed from 2k to xp and hating it (everything about it), so I would like to have it at least look like win2k.

Just applying the Windows Classic Theme is not enough. I think I saw a way to also have the icons and everything look like win2k somewhere here. Can anyone direct me?

Thanks
Sinner

Thanks swizz, but if you re-read carefully my 1st post, you'll see I wrote that changing the theme was not enough ;).

I'm not sure if you can get XP to look *exactly* like 2k.

I personally like the silver theme that comes stock with XP. :D

Well, if I had it my way, there would be no Windows at all and we'd all have black backgrounds with a white font and would cruise through folders with the cd command...

But as it is, I got used to win2k.

SinnerG,
Are you sure you're not a decendant of Henry Ford? ;)

You can have any color of car you want, as long as it's black.

Disclaimer: This is not an exact quote, just from what I remember from middle school.

1. Change theme to windows classic and set background to black
2. Remove all icons from desktop (Use powertoys if necessary)
3. Add cmd prompt to startup list

problem solved :)
