cd - dvd - 2nd hard drive not displayes in xp

Just installed a 2nd hard drive that works fine, but will not show up in my computer, unless I manually type in the drive letter.

I was having a similar problem with my 2nd cd-rom drive, but ignored it since it wasnt an important issue at the time.

Tried reassigning drive letters, removing and reinstalling, and been searching google for hours.

Help!?!?

A program called Microsoft Power Tools -tweakui let me fix the problem.
