I want to change the themes of two rooms of our storefront.

Right now we are using a travel theme in each room (one is travel destinations in the USA, the other world-wide).

So far, suggestions include Star Wars, NFL, Science Fiction in general, and computer history.

It's my hope to make the themes interesting and modern, while remaining totally inoffensive (not overtly sexual).

Our clientele age range varies, but is primarily 25 to 45.

Ideas, anyone?

Also, I believe most people do not buy services, they buy experiences.

We want to modernize the experience of coming to our store.

Suggestions so far have included going with Starbucks instead of Maxwell House, and Adkins bars next to the Milky Ways. Ideas, anyone?

My old boss always went for toys for impressing the clients. She kept them all over the place. A penny gumball machien, kaleidoscopes, old metal wind up toys. She ALWAYS kept a desk drawer full of higher end Oriental Trading type toys. She would get them screened with our logo and name, and then any time a client came in they left with an assortment. She gave them away at trade shows too. For Xmas, she would get high end toys (like that one doll that won that one design award) and get those screenedand sent them off as gifts.

The clients ate it up. I mean, getting a bendy lizard or light stick beats getting a pen any day, right?
