It's pretty hard to pull myself away from all the Google fuss. But, here goes.

What am I?

GIZMO [members.aol.com]

This is actually two Gizmos connected. I want the gizmo on the right.. The one with the 8 gold/brass colored circles. and red in the middle.

The lines that connect the two devices are filled with Silicon

Also, the item is not a Sensor

Would the item on the left be a vacuum/presure pump?

Pressure - Yes

Pump - I believe it can be attached to a pump

So that would make the item on the right a pump of some sort.

Subsea Sensor?

These pressure transmitters are designed for direct installation on subsea oil production manifolds to measure oil/gas process and water injection pressures. Manufactured from high corrosion resistant alloys to meet NACE and other requirements, the sensor and casing are of electron beam and T.I.G. welded construction, hyperbarically tested ensuring reliable operation to depths of 2500 metres with an operating life in excess of 25 years

No, this item's function isn't for fabricating. However, I suppose it could be attached to something who's ultimate goal is fabrication.

Subsea - I don't think so

Sensor - No

TJ...
The item on the left is a REGULATOR,

I suppose it does have to Sense to regulate.

So the item on the left regulates the injection of silicon into the item on the right.

NO, the item on the left regulates something else. The item on the right is an optional attachment that aids in the regulation process

Is it a "Fluister"? An item that works kind of like a transistor in electronics - a flow channel that opens and closes the regulator?

Not sure how it assists the regulator. It's possible.
