Definitly a falafel sandwich, sometimes a hot dog from Montreal Pool Room. Poutine can be tempting, jatar_k, are you there?

...got some killer sushi take out round me, but am a big fan of a local okonomiyaki joint nearby...

McD's here does some interesting things with teriyaki sauce I must say...

>falafel sandwich<

Toss up between that and a decent donair. If i've been into the beer, nothing beats a poutine.

Baja Fresh (I love cilantro), Samurai Sam's (teriyaki bowls), Subway...actually, just about any fast food place other than McDonald's, their food is too unadventurous for me.

I used to like Chinese but i dont know , nowadays i hate it!

IMHO ,the best side to beer is hot spicy shrimp curry :)

Pizza Pavilion does the finest chicken parmesan I've ever tasted (apart from my own, naturally).

Unless you live near Middlesbrough in the UK however, that really won't help. In that case, I highly recommend fish and chip - preferably with scraps too, but that seems to be a northern UK thing again.

For me it's the mom and pops...

Pig Iron (local BBQ)
La Bamba (Burritos as big as your head. Also open after the bars close...key)
Baja Fresh

Chains:

KFC

Pete's Pizza. Their calzones are incredible.
Dominis. They have some of the best sandwiches in Spokane.
Aloha Island Grill. Doesn't look like much, but the food is great.
