I've been on the hunt for one for a while now - I have borrowed a fairly cheap 4.1 megapixel one in the past and it works great for website graphics (which are reduced to 72dpi anyway).

Looking around, I really like the look of the Canon IXUS II which I can have for about £179 including VAT (UK) if I accept a "grey" import (I have no problems with that).

Any advice?

The Canon is only 3.2 mega pixel but I love the design (I'm so shallow!) and it's the kind of thing I would also use on holiday of course.

Does the extra mega pixel resolution (wouldn't spend the extra for more than 4.1) really make a difference on standard size (5 x 7 I think) holiday snaps? I know it won't for doing pics for the websites.

Be good to hear from anyone with any experience of this Canon too.

Thanks guys,

TJ

I got the A70 recently. Only 3.1MP, but, it's fine for what I need it for. Sticky me and I can shoot you a link to a really great digicam review site if you want (not mine, not spam, it's just a great site that I used to make my decision).
