nobody wants to stand in que's dodging hundreds of people, with the hustle and bustle of christmas shopping who is everyone turning too?

People start shopping now. I've been getting holiday catalogs for weeks now.

i still turn to the mall :)

Not to say, I don't buy things online, but I guess I actually enjoy seeing the madness once per year.

I shop at thinkgeek (for our programmers), godiva, BN.com, and various electronic places found, usually through dealtime

Our sites started to get busy for xmas a couple of weeks ago and traffic will increase until a couple of days before 25th. You would not believe how late some people leave it and hope you can get stuff to them on time.

well the UK has unofficial postal strikes which no union will admit to calling - hence they may last months - no way i'm buying anything which will come by post
