My Link Was Number 2!

Halloween Foo-ness.

My son was Link from the Legend of Zelda [bunlimited.com], The Windwaker for Halloween... We went to a carnival and he entered the costume contest for his age group. He walked out on the stage, sword and shield ready, and posed for the judges and the crowd.

He won 2nd place! He got to go back up on stage to receive a trophy. It was really fun, all the kids knew who he was (and quite a few adults), and were calling him Link.

To top things off, my daughter's entry # (she was a kitty) was drawn for a door prize, and we won a karaoke machine! hmmm, might be a good night to buy a lottery ticket...

Congrats, I'm sure you were the one making the costume.

It goes to show how old I am, never would have thought of Link, from just the pic, I'd have said some elf from Lord of the Rings.
