Images not being shown in IE

It is driving me crazy. Some new virus?

I have restarted my computer, cleared my cookies, my internet files and turned off image dithering.

The same thing happened to me last night at home. It also happened to a coworker at home.

Is there some new virus out there? Is it because of the google toolbar?

I could not even view images on pages served by localhost. I had to switch over to opera(which is working fine).

Any suggestions?

I ran all the spyware progs and now it is fine. It only removed cookies though. Strange.
