Who would be stupid enough to put their e-mail address on a "Do Not Spam" list?

Maybe the same people who put their number on a do-not-call list managed by a large telco. ;-)

I think the do not call is a great idea. However the do not spam is going to be difficult to enforce if someone is overseas. If you put your name on the list odds are is all of the spammers will get a list so the know who "not" to spam.
Nothing makes a people/nation more upset than laws that are not enforceable.
Do not call is good. Do not spam is not going to work so its a bad idea.
