Is it holiday time or somthing in the US? - Even WebmasterWorld seems slow this week and some of my sites are positive ghost towns...?

Weren't people complaining back in August that it was sooo slow? The blame that time was the summer holidays.

So what'll we blame it on this time?

  • Could be your LS listings tanking?

  • There's a thread that Google PR is broken.

  • Flying Underpants [abc.net.au]

  • UFO Invasion [varnaline.com]

  • Television shows are improving.

  • Three martini lunch is making a comeback.

  • Now that dmoz works, everybody is using that instead.

Monday was Columbus Day for us -- three day weekend

Here's our upcoming holidays:
Halloween Friday, October 31 (not really a holiday but people go shopping and goofing off to get ready for trick or treat)
Veterans Day Tuesday, November 11
Thanksgiving Thursday, November 27
Christmas Day Thursday, December 25

Stores here have already put out Thanksgiving stuff and after Halloween will start pushing Christmas stuff. The day of Thanksgiving is black Friday when all the stories will be packed and will stay pretty packed through the New Year.
