This is one of those things that only other webmasters would appreciate. On one of the sites I work with, a forum I started about two years ago, and tweaked and nurtured for the first year, crossed the 200,000 post mark tonight. At least 75% of those have been in the last 12 months, so the board is really rocking.

I must give credit where credit is due - Brett's great example here at WebmasterWorld helped me formulate my basic philosophy for this board, a philosophy quite different from its competition. Thanks, too, to all the WebmasterWorld members whose sage webmastering advice helped make this possible!

This particular forum serves a fairly altruistic purpose, and one of the best things about this milestone is realizing how many visitors have no doubt left with more knowledge than they arrived with.

Now, if I can only figure out how to monetize this traffic more effectively...
