weird coincidences ..!? or not ...!?

aargghh - is there a plot to kill me

So .... I'm riding my motorbike home from work tonight and some *&%$%& clown in a BIG white truck decides to drive at top speed the WRONG WAY down a one-way street and I see him heading for me and I've got nowhere to go ... have to slam the brakes on heavy (never a good idea on a motorbike, believe me! but no option) and the next thing I know I'm laying in the road and my elbow and knee are hurting like anything and my very expensive bike has some nasty scratches on it. Argh!

I get home, have a shower, calm down and decide to get on with a bit of work. So I'm sitting at my computer minding my business with the window open next to me and suddenly I hear a big whooooooooooooosh and something hits me on the side of the head and sparks fly around the room. For a minute or two I'm wondering if I'm having a stroke or something but then I remember it's near to Guy Fawkes day here in the UK and kids have started playing with fireworks early and one of the rockets has mis-fired and shot into my study. At least, I hope thats the explanation :)

Weird weird day, I've got work to do but I think I deserve a beer or five and an early night...

Well, I'm alive .... just. Woke up this morning with sore arm and knee, a bruised ear from the stray firework AND a stinker of a hangover! LOL. Things can only get better ...... :)
