Has this happened to anybody else. I was kicked out of Yahoo Shopping based on the fact that Yahoo said that I gave myself the fedback ratings and I did not. They will not respond to my emails and there is no phone support. I am so frustrated. I have literally sent over 100 emails to Yahoo store-abuse email. I cannot believe that they do not have any standards as far as responding to email. Its really frustrating that they can do whatever they want to you and just shut down your business without an explanation or proof or anything. Does anybody know what I can do about it.

100 e-mails? Thats enough for me to put you on ignore. If they said you did it they believe it. They have IP address logs for everything otherwise I do not know why they would assume that.

Hi I know they track IP's and all of that good stuff, however I can proove to them that no two IP's were alike other then Repeat Customers . It gets better they said the were wrong and let me back into shopping but removed all of my ratings and said I had to start over. Thats what I am upset about. If they really believed I did that then why would they have reinstated me?

Being independant of any large scale organisation is a nice thing. It's like with putting up adsense - you are at the mercy of something that's so much bigger than you.

Do you actually get orders from Yahoo Shopping?

Yahoo Shopping accounts for .000001% of my sales (exagerating).

If you are getting a high percentage of sales from Yshopping, then you need to worry less about your ratings and worry more about optimizing for Google and other search engines.

I guess there are some products that might do better in Yshopping, but I doubt there are many.

That said, did you try their toll free number?

Or is it just one of those things where it's just an answering machine?

Hi, I know it is hard being so small and dealing with a company so big. Actually belive it or not Yahoo just called me becasue of all my emais and said when I get 10 new ratings I will get my stars back. I know I do need to promote more in google and other S/E . I am constantly optimizing my site. Actually, no I do not ge many sales anyhow, nevertheless it all adds up. I get most of my sales throug ebay at least 80% then 5% from Yahoo shopping and the other from Google. I sure which I could Flip Flop that around and get 80% from google. Ebay feedback is scary but at least I never get Fraudelent customers as I do from Yahoo shopping.

Yes, the products I sell our Pretty Large items, I suppose smaller commodity items would do better like DVD's or something of that nature, but I doubt it too. I was ranking #1 on a really targeted competitive kew word in shopping , my store even came above the major department stores and everything, with my prices untouchable by at least a $100.00 gap and the orders were still really bad
