I thought that was just a Simpsons thing. Left handers rule!

Was it called the Leftorium? It would be a lot cooler if it was. :)

Southpaw power!

:D

What on earth did they sell there? Can openers? Notebooks? Pencils with the words right-side-up? Coffee mugs with the writing on the front instead of the back?

There used to be a store in the Portland area.
It had scissors, notebooks that had the spirals on the opposite side, pens with quick-dry ink so your hand didn't drag through it. I can't remember what else, it's been probably 25 years since I was there.

Oh, if only I'd had that left-handed ruler when I was at school, life would've been so much easier.

Do they sell left handed mice? And keyboards with the Number pad on the left? That would be cool.

I would give my right hand to be ambidexterous :-)

It is easy. Give ait a whole day and you will be flying.

I'm ambidextrous and mostly I just get confused.
It's not usually a problem but occasionally I end up clicking furiously and wondering why contextual menus keep appearing. And then I realize I thought I had the mouse in my left hand but it's in my right and I should be clicking with the other finger.
Gah.
Screws me up in tennis, too.

Lefty things I still need to find:
Measuring cup with the stuff on the correct side.
Lefty ladle.

Lefty things I can't do without:
Corkscrew
Scissors (beware the left handed scissors that are really just rightys with a lefty handle)

Visited a lefty store in Boston. Finally found a pair of scissors I could use. Nothing like growing up in art class and not being able to cut things properly.

I just saw a stat that says the left-handed population is approx 11-13%. It's time to drop support for these genetic aberrations and force them to upgrade to the non-sinister path.

Doesn't it get confusing when you have to right-click with a left-handed mouse?

No. You learn. It is second nature to me now. If I change to an XP laptop and use and external mouse I cant change the setting and that messes with my mind :)
