Anyone know what the temperature is usually like in Orlando around the end of February? I was thinking it was still kind of cool there at that time of year.

It can be "really" cold, at least in Floridian terms. Anything below 70 is cold :)

I live quite a bit further north, but anything below 70 feels cold to me too! Any chance the date will end up being a little later, like March maybe?

Me and my husband have been planning to go down that way for a real vacation for a while now. If it is warm enough maybe we would stay longer, after the conference, for a real vacation.

There are only two seasons in Florida:
  • Warm & Humid
  • Damn Hot & Humid

February is in the Warm & Humid season. ;)

Forget the weather, the airport is the biggest nightmare to fear. I live north of Orlando and will never use the airport there ever again. Absolutely crazy, even before 9/11, now its just pure insanity. Too bad folks can't fly into a reasonbly smaller airport like Jacksonville instead (it's too long of a drive to Orlando from Jax).
