So what's the REAL story with this pizza delivery guy in Erie, PA who had a timer and bomb strapped around his neck and was told to rob a bank before it blew up? The dang thing exploded blowing "a postcard sized hole in his chest."
The poor guy looked so sad on TV as he sat handcuffed waiting for the bomb squad to save him. It never did.
First, why was the story so slow coming out. The robbery happened on a Thursday and it didn't make the news for two days. Then vitually no info. bits and pieces. Several experts have called it one of the most unusual crimes in history.
Who goes to THAT much trouble to rob a bank? It must have taken months to plan and build that sophisticated gizmo.
Why a pizza guy and not a bank employee? (he had his own gun cane with him) Why didn't the pizza guy just head to a fire/police station that had metal saws? The pizza guy was 46 and looked pretty big...not the easiest guy perhaps to get that collar on.
Ideas?
