I eat Shredded Wheat for my breakfast, do the travel to work thing, drink a few pints of water and then go for a call of nature at some point.

But something strange happens every time, a rather strong Shredded Wheat odour. This does not happen if I eat anything else. It CAN'T just be me, please say it is not so.

By the way I wash my hands after, what sort of gimp do you think I am? (don’t answer)

You can get it here (ie NZ), my boyfriend eats it for breakfast. I assume it's the same thing. Um, no odour though as far as I know. And I don't really want to go ask...

It's probably similar to the asparagus thing where a certain compound in the food isn't fully broken down by some people, just depending on their metabolism. I'm not sure what compound though. Does other wheat based products have the same, um, effect?

I've had an odour sugar puffs before. does that count? I hadn't eaten them that day though. Hmmmmmm. :)

tosspot.. a sweet/sugary odour? Seriously for a moment.. i think i recall that being a symptom for diabetes. if that recurs you might want to check it out.
