RIP Charles Bronson

Warren Zevon gets remembered, but Charlie doesn't?

I should've thought about a RIP post for Charles Bronson on August 31st, but I guess it slipped my mind.

No one was as entertaining as Charles Bronson... bar none. Death Wish 1 is probably my favorite movie, for more reasons than one.

I even went as far as buying his photo, which I've been wanting for over a year now.

I totally agree - He wasn't born the man was quarried.

His performance in the Magnificent Seven, the great escape and Once apon a time in the west were superb to name but a few.

RIP Charlie

Yup. I was a big Charles Bronson fan. There's one film that's out of print that I'm looking for- The Vallachi Papers. He plays a mafia informer in that one, based on a true story I believe.

I've got Mr. Majestyk cued up on Netflix.

I posted about his death in my blog...he will be missed.

He usually did not have many lines in a movie, but when he did speak he 'dropped knowledge'.

There are 3 of his movies I would like to see again:
The first is the one where he shoots a field full of water melons up.
The second is the one where he goes to california and goes to an acid/hippy party and gets hit on by a hippy girl.
And the last is one where he kills a man by hitting him with a garbage can and pushes him through a window.

I checked IMDB but only found the hippy one. The others will remain a mystery.

We should've let Charles Bronson loose on the spammers. Maybe he could've hit them with a sock full of pennies or something.
