England won a test match! Saved the series!

And finally showed some fighting spirit

It was a fine sight to see. After South Africa had scored the expected lots-of-runs, we all thought "here we go again" only for England to out score them and them skittle their wickets. Finally there seem to be some England cricketers who have some b****cks and don't treat a test match like it was a knock about in the park on a Sunday. If we're to take on the Aussies and have a hope of winning back the Ashes, there needs to be more of this!

Can only agree - a fine perfomance from the lads. Australia, on the other hand, seem like a very different proposition. I'd actually be surprised if we manage to win the Sri Lanka tour this winter, though would hope to beat Bangladesh.

Still, very encouraging stuff and great to see Trescothick, Thorpe, Flintoff, Harmison and Bicknell getting into form.

40-1 after that 1st day, but who on earth thought we would make such a comeback.

Was so tempted to leave the computer and bomb down to the Oval yesterday, god knows why i didn't, is only a few stops away.

Good to see cricket finally becoming popular again after so many years of having the piss taken out of me for loving it, only prob is I can't get any accomodation in angigua for the test next year!
