Any Swedish folks going to pubcon?

...dog snaps:) I need a bunch of swivel snaps for staking out my dogs and for the foot long chains that I use to teather them to my truck. Supposedly Swedish snaps are the best in the world.... and they cost at least 2 to 3 times what ours in the States cost. The only place I know to buy them is in Alaska.

...I'd ask Mivox to pick me up some, but these guys mark everything up big time even if it starts out expensive. Was wondering if I would be sitting at the table drinking beers with someone talking about dog snaps (not likely, but it MIGHT happen.... probably very likely now that I just posted this:) and they would say, "you paid HOW MUCH for them? My gosh, my dad works in a hardware store and could have sent you a case of them for that much!" ... I need about 80 of the large ones. They cost $3.25USD/each plus shipping if you buy less than 50, $2.60 if you buy more than that.

Thought if they were significantly cheaper, it would be worth it to hook up with someone there.... hell, if I have to spend the money, might as well buy the snaps cheap and then get us drunk on the money I saved:) But I'm looking for the good ones made in your country... not some cheap imports.

Well, if no-one comes through from Sweden, I could check around and see if anyone but Cold Spot carries them. ;) We have more than our share of mushers at the local bar, so I could ask around...
