Hi,

I am being reloacted to Richmond, VA and have to select a new cell provider. My new employeer has agreements with Verizon and TMobile.

TMobile seems to have better rates and cooler function but what about recption?

I currently have ATT and have had a miserable time with them.

Any thoughts?

I can only speak for my area. Verizon rules in the mountains. The others have better rates, but that does me no good when the phone won't ring. Ask your Richmond real estate agent who has the best reception in the area, she'll know. :)

For sure ask around....
I am in CT and my Verizon worked all the way into the Western Mountains of NC. Att didn't.

I use tmobile.

to be honest, the reception is not always that great. Esp. when i travel.

Course my phone is all digital with no analog.. that might account for some..

i DO like all the internet functions, though.

I like the "cool" features of TMobile but am curious about the reception. The coverage maps look very much the same.

Asked several people down there and got all kinds of respones. UGH guess it is a no win situation, lol
