128bit encryption does not work...

I have this other family computer, that is running windows 98.

When I try to access https site it pops up a message "Security certificate has expired or not valid yet" and if I press "yes" it tells me that "The page cannot be displayed"

Even though some other sites have https and they pop up the same message and everything works fine...

I am thinking it has something to do with root certificates and that they weren't installed yet when win98 came out?

Did you check the Windows Update site? It'll list any root cert packages you are missing.
